The Arizona Cardinals will play against the New York Giants on Sunday night. Will wide receiver Anquan Boldin wear back his Cardinals jersey and play in the game? It is possible as he was able to do “a lot more” in Thursday’s workout than he did on Wednesday.
Boldin sprained his right ankle in the second quarter of Sunday’s 27-3 victory against the Seahawks at Seattle. He returned to play in the third quarter, and then left the game for good with Arizona comfortably ahead. But he was unable to practice with the team on Wednesday and Thursday.
The wide receiver did go through some work with a trainer on the sideline, and he even did some jogging on Thursday. According to Coach Ken Whisenhunt, there’s a chance the three-time Pro Bowler could participate in practice on Friday.
