It seems that the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell likes the idea of having Pro Bowl game before Super Bowl very much, as he has said that the Pro Bowl may stay before the Super Bowl game even after it moves back to Hawaii next year.
“We have the option when we go back to Hawaii, we can do it before or after (the Super Bowl),” Goodell said. “Here’s where I like it: I think you should stop or end your season when you reach the pinnacle. The pinnacle is the Super Bowl. I think it’s anticlimactic when you come back with the Pro Bowl the week after the Super Bowl.”
Those who want to see most shining star players play in Pro Bowl jerseys should understand that the game needs more attention so it does not want to stay behind the hottest game of a season- the Super Bowl. And Goodell thinks that moving it before the Super Bowl will keep people focusing on it before their passions for football leave after watching the Super Bowl. He admits that it is a drawback for players from the two Super Bowl team unable to play. Well, if the best players of the best teams are unavailable for the Pro Bowl, Goodell, could you please tell us why the hell the Pro Bowl still exists?
