Brett Favre could return to NY Jets

Very few New York Jets would like the idea of seeing Brett Favre wearing the white and green again on field, but there are still possibilities for the quarterback to play for the Jets as the team’s owner Woody Johnson likes the idea. But if Favre really returns to join the Jets, there would be more Favre haters from Minnesota.

Favre has not made his idea on whether to have a surgery to repair his injured ankle, let alone the decision on whether to wear back any style of Brett Favre jersey. As long as he is still undecided, any team could be his next home, and the teams he used to play for definitely have better chance. While the Vikings are trying to move Favre with their patience, the Jets showed their trust to attract the quarterback.

In a recent interview, Woody Johnson said that he never regrets for signing Favre in 2008 out of his retirement. Although the Jets even did not make it to post season while Favre was there as a starting quarterback, Johnson insisted that what Favre brought to the Jets were all positive impacts and the team’s failure was majorly caused by problems already existing before Favre’s arrival.

Johnson also gave high praise on Favre’s leadership qualities and believed that Favre had set a great example for other Jets players and that exemplary influence is still working with current Jets squad. If the team manages to bring Favre back, Johnson would be very glad and give Favre an extremely warm welcome.
